// what is it about

What is OffSugar?

OffSugar is building India's first full ecosystem of everyday products that help you cut back on refined sugar, starting simple and expanding over time.

The problem

Most sugar substitutes sold today are either premium, imported, medical-feeling products, or they're cheap but come with a bitter aftertaste that makes people quietly give up on them. Neither is built for daily, mainstream use.

What we're building

Clean, well-sourced, everyday products, branded like something you'd actually want on your kitchen shelf, not a pharmacy item. We're starting with monk fruit sweetener.

Who it's for

People managing diabetes or pre-diabetes who need a genuine daily substitute, and health-aware people, including younger buyers, who are cutting refined sugar before it becomes a medical issue.

Why it matters in India

India has one of the world's largest diabetic and pre-diabetic populations, and refined sugar shows up in far more everyday food than most people realise. Small, consistent swaps add up.

// what to expect

What happens when you cut refined sugar

This is a general pattern reported across nutrition research and health guidance, not a guarantee. Everyone's body responds differently.

  7 Days 14 Days 30 Days
Cravings Often at their strongest in the first few days, then start to ease. Noticeably weaker for most people. Mostly settled. Occasional cravings are normal, not a setback.
Energy Can feel uneven as your body adjusts to fewer sugar spikes. Starts feeling steadier through the day. Fewer sudden crashes are commonly reported.
Taste Mostly unchanged so far. Beginning to adapt. Naturally sweet foods, like fruit, often start tasting noticeably sweeter.
Sleep & skin Little change yet. Some people notice better sleep quality. Better sleep and clearer skin are reported by many, though the evidence here is less robust than for cravings or energy.

This is general information, not medical advice. If you are diabetic, pre-diabetic, pregnant, or on any medication, please talk to a doctor before making significant changes to your sugar intake. Individual results vary widely based on your starting point and overall health.

// why us

Why OffSugar, and not something else?

01

We're not selling a medical product. Most sugar substitutes are branded and packaged like pharmacy items. We're building something you'd actually want on your kitchen shelf, made with genuinely good ingredients, not dressed up as clinical.

02

Clean, transparent formulations. No unnecessary additives, clear ingredient lists, and consistent quality control, so you know exactly what you're consuming every day.

03

A full ecosystem, not one jar. We're not stopping at a single product. OffSugar is built to grow into everything you'd need to reduce sugar across your whole day, not just your coffee cup.

04

Built for daily use, not occasional indulgence. Whether you're managing diabetes or simply trying to eat better, OffSugar is designed to be part of your everyday routine, not a special-occasion substitute you forget about.
